Just got back from Savyon, a new healthy and organic kosher restaurant serving organic salads, panini’s and many other vegetarian dishes full of greens; a much needed addition to the Pico kosher restaurants scene.
It was late night I didn’t want to have just bread with no meat and was really craving something good. The surprise came right after I looked at the menu and found the Quinoa Cake. The owner, who came by to chat and ensure my comfort agreed with my decision. So I went with the Quinoa Cake over a Salad, and it was even better than I expected.
The place went through some renovations and looks very nice. The owner shared with me the news that they are going to connect the store with ‘Jerry’s Garden’ and we’ll be able to sit and have a Sunday brunch in the Garden very soon. Sounds very relaxing 🙂
The prices where very reasonable for a Kosher Organic place, only $8.99 for the whole mea and it was great. When you go, please say that Uzi from MyKosherLA.com sent you, and you’ll get the VIP treatment. Savyon is certified by Rabbi Yehuda Bukspan.
