  1. Does the orange juice add much of an orange flavor to the recipe?

    I’m wondering if honey would also go well in the recipe. Many hamentashen recipes have honey.

  2. Irene – I am going to try this recipe. I have a handwritten recipe of my grandmother’s hamantaschen dough that I wrote as a teenager trying to document her recipe. She baked without recipes and it came out perfect every time. But it made it hard to pass the recipes down. Your recipe looks so similar to what I wrote down about hers that I have decided to try it. I will let you know how it comes out. Thanks for sharing.
